About Hadithi

Hadithi ("story" in Kiswahili) is an audio streaming platform built to preserve and share African oral storytelling — folklore, history, proverbs, and the voices of real storytellers — in the languages people actually grew up hearing them in.

Anyone can listen for free. Storytellers can register as creators, upload their own recordings, and build a following — every story is reviewed before it goes live, so what you hear on Hadithi has been through the same editorial process whether you're on the app or here on the web.
